Air Dior sneakers released with an interactive installation by EJTECH for DIOR x NIKE JORDAN
EJTECH was commissioned by The House of Dior to augment the already legendary Air Jordan 1 High OG sneaker pair, into an interactive art piece, as to control a generative beatscape, as well as a grand emblematic light sculpture engulfing this unique experience. This is an unprecedented collaboration between Dior and the Nike Jordan Brand, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordans. The amount of details and hand-work put into the Air Dior sneakers is impressive. EJTECH embedded non-intrusive haute couture soft sensors in order to highlight such details via interaction and sound design using the exploration of touch and delicate hand gestures. The entirely wireless, zero-latency and immersive interactive installation and performance was on view on the day of the worldwide drop.
